- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand instructions for users of all experience levels.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
- Edit and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, customer support, and quality assurance, to gather information and ensure documentation meets the needs of end users.
- Respond promptly to feedback and update documentation accordingly to address user needs and improve overall usability.
- Stay abreast of products, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure documentation remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in the security industry, with a strong understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, and VMS software.
- Proven ability to create clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools
- Experience in Zendesk, Service Now, or other Ticketing Systems
