We are also looking for a Technical Writer (m/f/d) in Riverside, CT who is interested in developing our technical documentation department and expanding our professional resources for the future.

This position offers a certain level of responsibility combined with creative freedom.


Responsibilities:

Your tasks with us:

Expansion of the existing department - Technical Documentation - as well as the areas of activity listed below. This involves development and project work.


Creating and optimizing documentation, such as operation, service, maintenance, and repair manuals, spare and wear parts lists, as well as sales materials in an XML-based editorial environment.

Research, coordination, professional writing, and visualization of information in collaboration with all involved departments and areas.


Development of CE conformity and risk assessment according to current machinery directives and relevant guidelines and standards, involving the specialist departments.

Responsibility for compliance with and further development of the editorial guidelines.

Creation, coordination, and management of relevant terminology from a technical and marketing perspective.

Preparing content in print and interactive media in defined formats and languages.

Establishment and organization of a uniform and comprehensive documentation and translation management.


Qualifications:

What you should bring:

Several years of professional experience in technical documentation.

The ability to present complex technical content in a understandable, relevant, and target group-oriented manner.

Proficiency in common Microsoft Office programs.

Excellent German and English skills.

Quick technical comprehension and independent work style.

High level of teamwork and assertiveness.


Desirable:

Experience in translation management.

Experience in terminology
