- Desirable work schedule - work half the nights throughout the year with this full-time position following a (phone number removed) pattern schedule (6pm- 6am with a 5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off rotation)

- Over three years' experience in electrical maintenance within a heavy industrial setting
- Strong knowledge and practical exposure to industrial electronics, AC/DC principles, power distribution, testing tools, VFD's, PLC's, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical installations
- Aptitude in installing, diagnosing, and upkeeping a diverse range of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides
- Proven commitment to safe work practices including lockout procedures, fall protection, confined-space protocols, and operation of mobile equipment
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior exposure to the steel industry
- Proficiency in welding and light fabrication techniques
- Experience with industrial communication networks such as Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet
- Familiarity with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops and combustion controls
- Basic knowledge of mechanical devices
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a team-oriented setup
- Training in safety awareness
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years' electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC principles, power transmission, testing instruments, VFD's, PLC's, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical installations
- Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or similar practical background

What We Provide:
Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Technician:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment, effectively troubleshoot intricate issues related to electromechanical systems.
Analyze test outcomes, machine error signals, and feedback from operators to diagnose and rectify problems.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team, coordinating with production, industrial maintenance, and across functions to guarantee equipment reliability, service quality, safety, and continuous enhancement
