Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Cactus Wellhead Quality Management Systems (QMS) that support corporate headquarters, manufacturing locations, and the service branch locations.
This position works directly with the Quality Director, senior management and supporting quality staff to ensure the company utilizes all existing data, the QMS, and supporting business applications to drive and implement continual improvement and reduce risk throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS,ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Practice and promote safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
Identify and implement new processes and procedures to support management of change activities relating to company standard and industry standards API 6A, API Q2, API Q1 and all reference standards to ensure technical and quality compliance with the applicable QMS requirements.
Work with branch management to define specific Branch Customer Requirements to communicate specific customer needs to the branch network.
Improve company business processes through automation of manual processes using existing company applications Syteline, UniPoint, SharePoint or custom web access applications to eliminate redundancy and human error while driving efficiency.
Establish improvement teams as required and provide reports to senior management on progress of improvement team projects, products, quality, new initiatives.
Participate in the Cactus Wellhead auditing process by conducting branch assessments, QMS internal audits, product audits, vendor audits, process audits, or e-audits.
Lead or participate in the Supplier Management Process inclusive of qualification, approval, and evaluation of suppliers, developing purchasing specifications to address the API Supply Chain Management standards.
Lead or assist with investigations, corrective action solutions and follow up activities for branch responsible Field Performance Reports (FPR) and the company notification of potential problems through the creation and release of Field Advisories, Toolbox Talks and Quality Alerts.
Develop and provide training, guidance, and assistance as needed on matters related to the applicable QMS to educate Cactus Wellhead associates; Lead or assist in the development and implementation of Cactus U courses for the Quality department and SSE programs; Lead and maintain branch training programs.
Constantly seek and share best practices across the organization; seek out additional process improvement opportunities by leveraging best practices and information from other departments, manufacturing facilities and branch locations.
Represent Cactus Wellhead in assigned API Subcommittees and Task Groups by attending meetings, reviewing, and commenting on API ballots, participating in standards development activities, and keeping the company updated of API changes.
Perform or assist in peer review of annual Management Reviews, manufacturing facility audits and branch assessments, FPR Program, the Field Performance Reports, Nonconformances, Corrective Actions, Supplier Deviations, and Material Substitutions for improvement areas and submit recommendations for risk reduction to the senior management for consideration.
Monitor the implementation of major Engineering Change actions.
Lead or assist in the development of the Cactus Wellhead NDE program inclusive of Level III responsibilities, development and revision of NDE procedures, Level II and Level I training programs and qualifications of NDE suppliers when needed.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience; or at least 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Cactus Wellhead Quality Auditor Qualification
Preferred, but not required:
ASQ Certified Quality Manager, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor

Working knowledge of:
Quality Management Systems in accordance with API Q1, API Q2, ISO 9001
Mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic experience preferred
Measuring/testing equipment and dimensional inspection preferred
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
API and ISO product requirements, AWS, ASME, ANSI
standards/specifications
Corrective action & field compliant investigations
Specialized (Advanced) computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Syteline, UniPoint, and LMS Systems knowledge preferred
Very highly advanced language skills; Highly advanced mathematical skills; Very highly advanced reasoning ability; Advanced coaching and teaching skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise work assignments and training for personnel in areas of QMS, Product Knowledge, and SSE Program.
