Your tasks:


  • You are responsible for the professional management of the directing and camera team at RTL NEWS in Berlin
  • You develop design principles for our productions and coordinate them with the editorial teams and departments
  • You prepare the corresponding processes and standards and communicate them regularly, clearly and sustainably
  • You are the central point of contact for workflows in your area, ensuring efficient work processes and meeting our high quality standards
  • You also remain operationally active in this role and occasionally take on tasks in your field of expertise

Your profile:


  • You have several years of experience in directing/camera mixing or camera operation for live broadcasts
  • You have extensive experience with productions under live conditions
  • You have excellent knowledge in the areas of professional digital video and audio production
  • You are creative, enjoy taking on responsibility and have assertiveness
  • You have good communication skills, work well in a team and can quickly adapt to new situations, and you keep a cool head even in stressful situations
  • You are characterized by a high level of service orientation, flexibility, a strong sense of responsibility and customer orientation
  • You are willing to work shifts, nights and weekends and have a high level of initiative. A good general education completes your profile
