    Restaurant LORING PLACE, from award-winning chef Dan Kluger, is seeking a Service Manager.

    This position reports to the Director of Restaurants and is responsible for managing the service standards of the restaurant, overseeing dinner services primarily to ensure proper execution of service, training FOH staff, scheduling, inventory, menu and menu description upkeep, opening, closing, and additional administrative duties.

    Service Manager applicants must be self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Qualified candidates should have: minimum 2 years of management level experience in NYC restaurants; strong leadership skills; extensive knowledge of restaurant service SOPs; excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid understanding of HR processes; the ability to educate, train and coach team members; and proficiency in MS Office.

    NYC food handlers certificate preferred.

    TIPS certification preferred.
