    Primary Function:

    The Director of Marketing and Communication will be a key member of our Resource Development team, responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support for BGCAA. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and building strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and have a deep understanding of nonprofit marketing and communication principles.

    KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
    • Develop and execute a year long, comprehensive integrated marketing and communication plans to promote BGCAA's mission, programs, and impact across various channels.
    • Lead a small team of marketing and communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate closely with the executive team and program leaders to align marketing and communication efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Oversee the creation and production of high-quality marketing collateral, including but not limited to digital content, print materials, social media posts, email campaigns, videos, and presentations.
    • Manage the organization's brand identity and ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders to maximize press coverage and opportunities for visibility.
    • Develop and manage the organization's online presence, including the website, blog, and social media platforms, to engage and grow our audience.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing and communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communication, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
    • Represent BGCAA at events, conferences, and other public forums to promote our mission and build partnerships within the community.
