ManTech is currently seeking for Database Administrator to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area. In this role, you will m aintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data. Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products.

Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.

Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

You will coordinate database architecture changes with Database Engineer (DBE)s

You will direct the monitoring, administrating, and implementing performance on database
systems as well as database performance optimization, developing/changing database
indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database

You will direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables and views
You will direct the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies

and technologies Minimum Qualifications:
* 10 years as a DBA related experience

Bachelor's Degree Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline OR 4 years of additional related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:
* 11+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Requirements:

Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
