In the Personnel and Main Office, Department of Data Processing, under the jurisdiction of the Mayor, the following position is to be filled as soon as possible:
Database Administrator (m/f/d)


The following interesting tasks await you:

  • Configuration and installation of databases and database applications (Oracle and MS SQL)
  • Performing and monitoring data migrations and updates, backups
  • Ensuring the overall functionality of databases, conducting error analyses
  • Developing guidelines and monitoring compliance with IT and information security in the database area according to BSI guidelines and regulations
  • Support in the development of new IT solutions and projects
  • Conducting user trainings
  • Documentation, participation in the development of user instructions (updating user documentation) and building an internal knowledge database
  • Technical program and application support for assigned specialized applications

We are looking for a person with:

  • A completed relevant university or college degree, for example in computer science, business informatics or information technology, or a comparable degree in the field of information and communication technology
