The Regional Association of the Rhineland (LVR) is currently seeking a Medical Assistant in Gerontopsychiatry (m/f/d) for the LVR Clinic Cologne, Department of Gerontopsychiatry for the Chorweiler Outpatient Clinic.

Your responsibilities:

  • Patient admission and care
  • Creating and maintaining paper patient records
  • Preparing and issuing health insurance forms
  • Electronic record archiving
  • Organizing and coordinating outpatient clinic procedures
  • Billing for statutory and private medical services
  • Conducting resting ECGs
  • Administering intramuscular injections
  • Taking blood pressure measurements
  • Preparing and conducting blood draws
  • Supervising trainees
  • Conducting CoVid tests


Before signing an employment contract, proof of sufficient protection against measles is required in accordance with the Measles Protection Act (unless you were born before 1971 or are exempt from the legal vaccination requirement).
