    Front Desk Manager Position Plus - Job Description

    Are you ready to join a company that is Envisioning Creative Change? At our company, we value leadership by example and fostering a positive work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to oversee our Front Office & Housekeeping department.

    As the Front Desk Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager on various projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience to understand the hotel's operations and goals. This role provides a unique opportunity for career advancement within our company.

    Main Job Duties:

    • Assist in the supervision, recruitment, and training of front desk agents, night auditors, and guest service associates.
    • Troubleshoot any property management system issues and ensure all staff are proficient in system navigation.
    • Handle daily front desk tasks such as room reservations, check-ins/outs, guest inquiries, and payments.
    • Resolve guest complaints and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a strong knowledge of local amenities, hotel services, and rates.
    • Manage cash transactions and oversee housekeeping operations.
    • Ensure the hotel's success by meeting revenue, guest satisfaction, and quality objectives.
    • Assist in cost control measures and operational efficiency strategies.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2-year degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
    • 2 years of experience in hospitality or related roles.
    • Previous management experience.
    • Strong customer service skills with a preference for hotel environments.
    • Housekeeping experience is a bonus.
    • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, customer-focused setting.
    • Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • Quick adaptability to fast-paced environments and changes.
    • Familiarity with Property Management Systems is advantageous.
    • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
