    About You And The Role

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist , within Human Resources (HR) - HR Solutions.

    This position will be located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and is aligned to the HR Talent Acquisition discipline within Dow North America.

    This role will be align the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero (FS P2Z) Program growth hiring. The FS P2Z program is a key enabler to Dow's Decarbonization strategy.

    You will act as first point of contact to Dow Hiring Managers and Candidates to deliver efficient, integrated solutions on the field of Talent Acquisition.

    Responsibilities:
    Lead and implement the FS P2Z hiring strategy and hiring initiatives by closely working with HR, program leadership and Hiring Managers

    Be accountable for the full cycle recruiting (posting through offer) for the responsible FS P2Z Program hiring with clear understanding on the hiring needs and meeting those expectations during the recruiting process.

    Involvement in planning implementing local hiring activities and coordination with Early Career events
    Take the lead to define and implement the inclusive sourcing strategy and plan from both a FS P2 program and individual requisition level
    Provide a diverse selection of pre-screened and interviewed candidates to the hiring managers in alignment with global inclusive hiring guideline
    Delivering the best-in-class candidate experience through End-to-End Talent Acquisition process with ability to engage / influence candidates and prospects
    Ensure flawless execution and problem solving of hiring activities
    Identify opportunities for (future) improvements and participate or lead the global or regional TA projects
    Training of new Dow recruiters on e.g. Workday/Dow processes


    Qualifications:


    A minimum of a bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree AND 5 years of recruiter experience OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S.

    E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, Sergeant ranking, or higher
    A minimum of 3 years Human Resources related experience is required.
    English language – speaking, writing, and reading at an advanced/fluent level.

    Preferably 5 years and above of HR recruiting experience
    Workday recruiting experience
    Previous project management experience
    Client focused mindset
    Project management experience
    Able to think and collaborate beyond siloes and possesses an end-to-end mindset with and Employee Experience focus
    Biased toward continuous improvement, value creation and an owner mentality
    Track record with supporting continuous improvement efforts
    Process and detail oriented, strong problem resolution skills and work process execution
