- Guide and support Business Development Executives to achieve targets by securing new client projects.
- Explore new business opportunities, engage with clients, attend industry events for networking, and showcase our services' strengths.
- Design sales initiatives for prospective clients, understand funding sources, and highlight our service value
- Build and nurture client relationships, drive negotiations, and maintain accurate records in the SFDC database.
- Prior experience with Oral solid dosage forms (OSD) is preferred.
- Expertise in CDMO, product development, and commercialization of OSD forms.
- Demonstrated sales leadership and European business development background.
- Strong communication skills, networking abilities, and adaptability to matrix environments.
- Self-motivated, dynamic individual comfortable with remote work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to travel.
- Valid driver's license and fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).

The Role: Sales Manager, Business Development – Oral Solid Dose (EMEA)
As the Sales Manager, Business Development - Oral Solid Dose, you'll play a crucial role in helping our customers bring their innovative treatments to life through Oral Solid Dose drug products.
Your responsibilities will be dynamic, including overseeing a team of Business Development Executives and an Associate while managing accounts in the UK, Ireland, and EMEA. By implementing effective strategies, you'll drive sales growth, identify new clients and molecules, and lead projects to expand our market presence.
The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, shaping strategic directions, and fostering partnerships with Biotech and Pharma clients. Collaboration across various sales and business units within Thermo Fisher Scientific is key to ensure customer-centric approaches.
This field-based position covers the EMEA region, UK, Ireland territories, and involves international travel. We seek candidates based within the designated territory with convenient access to an international airport.
