    IMI Agency specializes in Building Better Beverage Business for our Hospitality Clients through cutting edge marketing programs and promotions, interactive food & beverage merchandising and operations tools, staff training, and recognition/reward programs for all channels in the Hospitality industry.

    IMI programs create brand value and opportunities with consumers while driving food and beverage sales and profits for our Hospitality Operator clients.


    Job Description:


    We have an opening for a driven, organized, forward-thinking, and strategic Director of Beverage Strategy to join a leading lodging hospitality group.

    This person will perform diverse Account and Project Management services on-site at IMI's client location.

    The Director of Beverage Strategy will be beverage-focused and involved in overseeing and executing complex, and often confidential tasks within the client's corporate work environment.

    This person will deliver full-time beverage account services to the clients in house restaurant group, soliciting funds for the beverage program, creating, developing, and executing award-winning beverage alcohol, merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives and overseeing all associated budgets and compliance parameters.

    The Director of Beverage Strategy will lead all IMI associates within the client's office and will participate in analyzing, strategizing, and forecasting purchase data and beverage mandates.

    This person will also oversee and organize the execution of all creative materials, manage internal and external communication, coordinate property and beverage partner meetings, activities, events, and all on-site logistics while assisting in various food and beverage projects as needed.


    Responsibilities:


    Handle and manage all supplier relations, marketing, and promotional programming and distributor buying programs for 1100+hotels and resorts across the United States.

    Perform all supplier solicitations, negotiations, invoicing, and collection.
    Liaise for the client, working with designers and developers to identify and define projects scopes, objectives, and requirements. Ensuring all align with the organizational goals.
    Coordination internal and external resources, defining budgets and schedules.
    Oversee, review, and revise projects as needed.
    Handle special reporting, including requests, building PPT presentations, monthly reporting, business scorecards, data entry, etc.
    Assist in planning large scale meetings and conferences. Coordinating and selecting locations, agendas, workshops, food & beverage, etc.
    Maintain budgets for events and conferences.
    Prioritize tasks and assignments, ensuring all responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
    Maintain databases for assignments and projects, tracking overall progress and accomplishments with specifying specific milestones.
    Streamline projects to maximize deliverable outputs.
    Report project results and risk to management – escalating issues as needed based on the project plans.
    Travel of 25% required;

    Education & Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
    Experience in Distributor sales to domestic chain hospitality or retail accounts
    Comfort in negotiating and making complex business decisions on behalf of the client
    Successful track record of complete high-level Account Management and Project Management duties
    Extensive knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry, related products, and the three- tiered system
    Maintain budgets and record revenues and expenditure reports
    Speaks and writes clearly and concisely
    Able to work with different management levels and styles as needed
    Takes imitative and is a part of the solution to issues and problems that arise
    The ability to multi-task handling several projects simultaneously
    High Level of experience analyzing data, instituting program or project changes based on sales, and creating program metrics to measure results
    High-energy interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
    Successful supervisory and/or employee management track record
    High proficiency in

    all

    Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    Excellent organizational and time management skills
    Demonstrated creative experience with implementing food and/or beverage promotions
    Experience with analyzing data, instituting program or project changes based on sales, and creating program metrics to measure results
    Ability to prioritize work assignments and work under minimal direction
    Hospitable, with a service-prone, client-first mentality
    Follow-up and follow-through must be your mantra
    Ability to travel as needed
    Management experience preferred
    SharePoint experience preferred.

    The following experiences are a plus:
    Food and Beverage marketing development and data analysis
    Executive Account Management
    Food and Beverage operations
    Beverage supplier or distributor sales analysis

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
