- Establish the daily production schedule for all work cells, establish the daily shipping schedule and support execution of these schedules
- Manage min / max levels of stock components
- Update the ERP system to ensure all team members can see the current status of orders to meet customer acknowledged ship dates
- Communicate with production, sales and our customers on any issues impacting our ability to meet the acknowledged ship dates
- Support establishing proper product codes, part numbers, and assigning bin locations for new stock items or increases in stock levels
- Ensure production scheduling is performed at all locations per established procedures and hold site management & schedulers accountable
- Identify process improvements to improve on-time delivery to customers
- Establish ERP expertise and be the SME for new ERP launch
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or 3-5 years' experience in the Industrial Hose industry
- Intermediate to Advanced in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using Prelude ERP software or similar is preferred
- Experience with industrial distribution, preferably fluid power components preferred. Familiarity with industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings preferred
- Experience with industrial distribution workflow
- Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
- Excellent written & oral communication
- Ability to build strong relationships with others
- Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized, with the ability to work independently and follow specific work instructions

- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities
- Speak clearly and hear
- This is an active role; however, some office work at a desk is required. This job requires the ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items up to 25 lbs.

Echelon is currently seeking an experienced Manager, Production Scheduling to join our team in Liverpool, NY.Job Summary: The Manager, Production Scheduling is responsible for directly scheduling all Commercial production, which includes all work orders to fulfill live customer orders, pre-build stock orders, and transfers to other branches; owning the Commercial scheduling process for the company. This critical role works closely with Operations/Branch Managers to ensure all work is scheduled in the most efficient manner.
