    Position: Director of Planning and Procurement

    Location: Corporate Headquarters - Metropolitan Area

    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; MBA would be the cherry on top.

    Salary: $120k-$150k based on experience

    Job Summary: Are you a maestro of materials, a wizard of workflow, and a pioneer of procurement? If orchestrating the symphony of supply chain activities is music to your ears, we're looking for a Director of Planning and Procurement to lead our ensemble. In this role, you'll conduct the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of our company's goods with the precision of a virtuoso.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Direct the daily opus of the department with a conductor's baton.
    • Cultivate and lead a team of supply chain virtuosos in a growth environment.
    • Ensure discipline harmonizes with company policy, and if necessary, compose the swan song for employees' tenure in accordance with company policy.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Forge strong alliances with suppliers, both domestic and international, ensuring our supply chain hits all the right notes.
    • Enhance functional processes to secure the best cost position and availability, ensuring our performance is always encores-worthy.
    • Drive logistical solutions that crescendo to meet customer and corporate growth.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Sales teams to deliver corporate initiatives that deserve a standing ovation.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to negotiate a fortissimo deal or a pianissimo partnership.
    • Strong leadership skills, capable of conducting a team to peak performance.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring not a single note is out of place.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, because even maestros need their sheet music.

    Education and Experience:

    • A storied career with 5-10 years as a leader in a similar role, conducting the grandest of supply chain orchestras.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods.
    • Occasionally lift the weight of 15 pounds of paperwork or procurement plans.
