NV5 is accepting resumes for a Survey CADD Technician who is motivated, energetic and goal orientated.

Responsibilities:

Provides support to field surveyors and is responsible for processing field data. Creates search coordinates for field crews.

Works with data such as:
field notes, photogrammetric data and photographs, state plane grid coordinates and tables and raw survey point data.

Coverts geographic coordinates to grid coordinates, computations of traverse closures, level runs, balancing of traverse and other office computations relative to survey operations.

Performs computations and layouts for proposed construction projects. Possesses a general knowledge of utility line design and survey principals and procedures.

Qualifications:

Intermediate CAD (Civil 3D & 2016) skills;
Field to finish capabilities with good understanding of terrain

models and 3D models from classic survey data;

Familiarity with High Definition Scanning (HDS)
Knowledge of field and office surveying methods, practices

and mathematical procedures for surveying;

Ability to interpret legal descriptions, survey maps and

engineering plans;

Ability to perform mathematical computations
