    Overview:
    We are seeking a project level geologist or environmental engineer with

    2-5 years

    of experience to join our team of Site Assessment and Remediation experts.

    The team works to serve our existing and rapidly growing client base in multiple sectors; including industrial clients (ie:
    aerospace, manufacturing, food service, etc.), healthcare, biotech, schools and universities, development (real estate and construction), and municipal. This position is located in Long Beach, California.

    Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities will include:
    Conducting site assessment/remediation; hydrogeology; and environmental risk management studies and services.

    Performing field studies, data gathering and sampling activities at sites including soil and groundwater sampling, groundwater flow and hydrogeological data evaluation, chemical data and contaminant fate and transport evaluation, well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring, groundwater and soil remediation evaluation, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permit acquisition.

    Client service and identifying client needs.
    Working closely with project managers to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
    Preparing technical reports and supporting cost estimates
    Leading field projects and managing subcontractors field crews


    Qualifications:
    Education
    Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university in geology, hydrogeology, or civil/environmental engineering or other related science with

    at least two years

    of demonstrated consulting experience in California.

    Required Skills and Experience
    Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).
    Strong organization and time management skills
    Ability to work outdoors in field sampling conditions and lift 50 lbs.
    Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare reports and proposals
    Excellent writing and analytical skills a must.
    Licenses and Certifications
    Professional Engineer, or Engineer in Training.
    OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification.

    Have completed a variety of site assessments and site characterizations for various client sectors

    The pay range for this California position is $80,000- $90,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.

    Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
