    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team as an HR and Administrative Specialist. This person will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. They will be responsible for managing the company's account payable processes.

    The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting the growth and development of our organization's most valuable asset – our employees.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background check

    2. Establish working relationships with temporary agencies to fill positions.

    3. Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and assisting with training programs.

    4. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

    5. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

    6. Support employee relations initiatives by addressing employee questions and concerns, and escalating issues as needed.

    7. Assist with HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    8. Knowledgeable in payroll processing and laws including garnishments and child support.

    9. Maintain annual review process.

    10. Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.

    11. Perform general administrative tasks to support the HR department, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings.

    12. Maintain a continuous televised newsletter using power point.

    13.Will verify and process invoices from vendors and suppliers for payment.

    14. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure all documentation is properly filed.

    15. Generate necessary reports for management review and financial reporting purposes

    13. Assist with organizing employee events and activities to promote employee engagement and morale.

    Qualifications:

    1. Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

    years of experience in an HR support role or administrative position.

    3. Strong understanding of HR practices and principles.

    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Isolved, Sage and Employee Navigator.

    6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

    7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

    8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
