- Making onsite inspections to identify wildlife species responsible for threat or damage by sight, sound, tracks, type of damage or other appropriate evidence.
- The Capture and removal of Nuisance Wildlife in an urban and suburban setting.
- Working on Roofs using tall ladders as well as working in attics and crawl spaces.
- Performing necessary duties in various types of weather during all times of the year.
- Perform basic repair work on areas where animals have damaged using hand tools, power tools, sheet metal, and screening.
- Formulates and implements a management plan based on sound Biological principles, applicable laws, policies, and integrated wildlife damage management strategies (including demise and disposal)
- Coordinate plans and work activities with supervisor, law enforcement officials, property owner, and others as appropriate.

- Prior Industryexperience of 1-2+ years ispreferredbut not required.
- Must be able to take and pass the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Trapping Exam
- Must be able to take and pass all safety training, and the Critter Control Certified Wildlife Specialist Exam
- Familiarity with the local and surrounding area.
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Must pass a drug screen/criminal background check.
- Must be able to pass an employment physical.
- Must be able to be medically cleared to wear a respirator.
- Must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel normally associated with this position.
- Able to lift heavy objects (minimum 65 lbs.) and maintain consistent awareness of surroundings at all times.
- Must be able to climb, crawl, up, on, and in roofs, crawlspaces, under porches, and other tight areas.
- Have a general understanding of the use and care of hand and power tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
