Tasks

As a Direct Support Professional, you play a critical role in providing person-centered support to our clients. Your duties include assisting with daily living tasks, organizing skill-building activities, and promoting independence and community integration. Your compassionate approach and dedication to fostering a supportive atmosphere significantly contribute to the well-being and development of our clients.

Requirements

A sincere passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust
Ability to follow personalized plans and adapt to changing needs
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications are a plus)
18 years of age or above
Successful completion of a background check
Previous experience in a similar role is appreciated but not necessary - comprehensive training and support will be provided
Availability for 7 days of orientation/training program
