My name is Eric Dixon. People have described me as a creative, self-starter, transformational leader, an upbeat team player, and a person who gets the job done. I currently work as an Administrator in Training in the SNF environment, learning the ins and outs of recruiting, staff development, team member accountability, retention, and financial well-being of the building. 

I am looking for an Operations Manager position with plans to become a licensed Healthcare Administrator to run my own skilled nursing facility once I pass the NAB federal test in about a month. Throughout my life, I have seen and experienced the generosity of kind, down-to-earth medical professionals who have given selfless service to improve the health and well-being of their patients.  While these exemplary individuals may have provided such service in a personal one-on-one setting, I know they could not have done so without the backing and support of effective healthcare administrators, who tirelessly serve them from behind the scenes. Administrator in Training (AIT)

March 2023- Current 

  • Took control of high Nursing PPD levels by creating a Labor PPD projection tool, resulting in cutting nursing labor costs by $50,000 in the first month of use.
  • Reduced overall non-labor spending by 15% through developing and training a facility-wide interactive forecasting tool, allowing each department to be proactive on their department spending and labor management.
  • Implemented an internal marketing campaign to boost Google and other social media reviews, resulting in a 26% net increase in skilled Medicare patient days in the first 30 days. 
  • Applied for and received over $450,000 in ARPA federal grant money to help cover extra costs associated with COVID-19. 

Leadership Development Facilitator & Instructional Design Leader 

June 2022 - March 2023

  • Conducts audit trend analysis to identify, develop, and implement ongoing training needs. Provides research and customized department training as needed. Researches develops, and conducts training for employees, resulting in a 25% decrease in erroneous actions caused by Customer Service Representatives. 
  • Developed and published a national HIPAA reference guide that is used in 100% of all required HIPAA compliance training company-wide. 
  • Reduced average call times by 30% by creating customer service call reference guides to service our clients nationwide with Health and welfare call inquiries. (Callers were both insurance plan participants and providers calling in for plan benefits.)

November 2020 - June 2022

  • Increased employee work efficiency by 40% over a 3-month period for lower-performing employees.
  • Increased efficiency by 25% by fostering and maintaining relationships between key operational departments. 
  • Increased quality results by 30% by conducting periodic regulatory standards audits on employees to verify all legal standards are being met by team members.
