His most recent role at College Loan Corporation as a System Administrator from December 2021 to November 2023 showcased his ability to manage complex IT systems. Jacob was responsible for overseeing the SharePoint Farm, developing web applications, and implementing custom check-in kiosks. He also played a critical role in managing the 3CX phone system and Dynamics365 CRM, demonstrating his proficiency in both software development and system administration. Additionally, his role as an IT support specialist and TFS/Azure DevOps Administrator highlighted his versatility and capability to adapt to different IT domains.

Prior to this, Jacob served as a Communications Specialist and IT Developer at Port Susan Camping Club from September 2020 to July 2021. Here, he led initiatives to modernize IT infrastructure and developed applications that streamlined organizational processes. His work also involved deploying custom mail center and notification platforms, and setting up AWS environments, showcasing his skills in both communications and IT development.

His role at Robert Half as a Recruiting Manager in Technology Permanent Placement from July 2019 to November 2019, although brief, was significant. Jacob focused on growing business relationships, utilizing Salesforce, and implementing strategic hiring procedures, reflecting his adaptability and capacity to thrive in various aspects of technology and management.

At Whidbey Telecom, as a Senior Systems Administrator from September 2018 to May 2019, Jacob managed Cisco hardware and was responsible for the creation of applications and maintenance of IT systems. His tenure at Lake Washington Institute of Technology for over six years (January 2012 to September 2018), covered roles as a Software Developer, Database Administrator, and System Administrator, where he provided tier 3 helpdesk support, developed applications, and managed SQL/MySQL databases. This period was a testament to his long-term commitment and multifaceted skills in technology.

Jacob's early career at AT&T from December 2007 to January 2012 as a Software Developer and Business Specialist, involved maintaining GSM Telemetry Devices, developing applications, and performing ETL tasks. This experience laid the foundation for his diverse skill set in software development and business specialization.

Apart from his professional roles, Jacob also displayed his leadership in philanthropy as the President of the Darrington Internet Users Association from June 2017 to September 2018. In this role, he managed the non-profit organization, organized grants, and established partnerships for low-cost bandwidth, demonstrating his commitment to community service and ability to lead non-profit initiatives.

Currently working on getting my Network+ Certification.  Jacob's educational background in Computers, Servers, and Networking from Everett Community College and Edmonds Community College (2006-2007) provided the academic foundation for his successful career.
