- Building in partnership with Hospitality Manager and Acquisition Director a New Communication Catalogue for Global Leadership Summit Speakers and Past Faculty Members
- Manage compiling VIP guest list and partnering with the Service Engagement Team for registrations
- Creating individual itineraries for each GLS 2024 Faculty member
- Partnering with Hospitality Manager in creating the overall Speaker Schedule for multiple departments and teams, ensuring details align with individual itineraries
- Assist in creating a warm and welcoming Hospitality Suite and Green Room experience
- Develop a Schedule for all Key Times and Deliverables for Summit Week
- Provide back-stage support during event to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with manager, team meetings, all-staff meetings, and cross-functional meetings, as needed
- Perform and/or Complete other duties as assigned
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Discernment managing privileged information
- Proven experience in hospitality, event planning, or logistics management
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Two years college or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office products
- A vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and an active participant of a local church that holds to a historic, orthodox understanding of biblical Christianity

Description
Summer Internship: Hospitality and Logistics Intern
Purpose: The Hospitality and Logistics Intern will have a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and impeccable experience of the Global Leadership Summit Faculty. They will need to have the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-pasted environment, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensure needs are met and exceed expectations by providing exceptional service. This role will directly support the Speaker Hospitality and Logistics Manager.
Global Leadership Network (GLN) is a nonprofit organization located in South Barrington, Illinois. Our purpose is to introduce more people to Jesus and fully follow Him. We accomplish this by serving pastors and equipping churches in order to inspire Kingdom-oriented leaders around the world through the Global Leadership Summit and other leadership development resources.
The Global Leadership Summit is attended by 60,000+ leaders in 400 sites (primarily churches) throughout the United States. The Summit is translated into 50+ languages and held in over 800 sites in 110 countries reaching over 240,000 international leaders from September to April.
Job Status: Summer Intern, Seasonal (June 3 August 16), FT 30 40 hrs. / week, Hourly pay (Non-Exempt)
Position Team: Content Team | Speaker Hospitality & Logistics Intern
Reports to: Content Acquisition Director
Hybrid Work Schedule: This position currently has a hybrid schedule which includes working in the office Tuesday through Thursday for two scheduled Core Weeks each month and the option to work from home or in the office on Mondays, Fridays, and Tuesday through Thursdays during non-Core Weeks.
In-person days of Tuesday through Thursday will increase to weekly following July 4th weekend, leading into the event and during Summit week at the South Barrington campus.
Our regular workdays and office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm CT with 30 minutes for lunch.

August 12 August 16 Additional hours may be requested based on availability
