    is a rapidly expanding provider of high-speed internet services, founded in the Portland area, with the mission of bringing our fiber-based services to rural, underserviced areas.

    We are searching for a

    Strategic Account Manager


    who is responsible for providing strategic account management and financial sales leadership for an assigned portfolio and sales strategy of LS Networks network services to Government and Education institutions.

    Must have a working knowledge of USAC funding and the annual E-rate funding cycle.

    Develop and manage overall account strategies for specific named account customers, including identification of incremental revenue opportunities and retention of embedded base services.

    Works to drive sales by focusing on acquisition, development, and management of strategic prospective clients in designated territories.

    Responsible for overall customer relationship management and customer satisfaction in addition to delivering annual customer revenue and retention objectives on a consistent basis, to meet and exceed the end-to-end experience expectations of these Gov/Ed customers.


    This is a full-time salary, exempt position, with a targeted compensation (Base + Commission) of $150,000 - $185,000 per year, depending on experience.

    Essential Functions

    Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities.

    Proactively and consistently engage customers to understand the changing business needs of their set of customer accounts to identify upselling/cross selling and new product revenue growth opportunities.

    Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams.

    Maintains excellent knowledge of Company's products/services, pricing practices and selling skills to effectively ensure positioning and alignment with assigned accounts.

    Initiate and deliver proposed solutions to meet the needs of the assigned customers as it relates to all LS Networks network service.

    Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as the primary escalation point for any customer issues that arise. Proactively coordinates efforts with other internal teams and groups to ensure effective resolution.

    Manage the cultivation, execution and delivery of sales and services to local and regional accounts in the Strategic Government and Education markets to include USAC and annual E-rate funding cycle.

    Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations leadership to develop specific account management plans to meet assigned accounts needs and an overall strategy to optimize sales and retention opportunities.

    Management of existing revenue, sales opportunities, quota, funnels, and forecasts consistent with sales, service and operational goals and objectives.
    Education/Experience and Skills & Abilities

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) and 3-7 years of related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Possesses excellent written and oral communications, interpersonal skills and planning, presentation, and organizational skills.
    Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
    Valid driver's license and own applicable vehicle insurance.
