Description
The primary function of the Director of Accounting is to assist the CEO with accounting responsibilities of the organization, along with leading and developing the department.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership abilities, with an emphasis on mentoring, training, developing, and scaling the finance department.
Additionally, the candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing processes to address departmental bottlenecks and challenges.This team member will monitor and ensure the progress toward the attainment of company goals and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in accounting leadership roles.
Experience with process and procedure improvement, creation, implementation and scalability.
Exposure to financial planning and analysis preferred but not required.
Excel experience required; Power BI experience preferred.
QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.
