For our client company, a full-service provider specializing in repair, logistics, and global engineering, we are currently seeking a Director (m/f/d) Corporate Accounting & Tax at our location in Malsch near Karlsruhe.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the Accounting/Group Accounting and Tax department:
  • This includes all accounting matters (HGB) of the European group (Accounting Manual & Policies, Financial Statements & Consolidation, Audit Management)
  • You will be the main contact for the group auditors, local finance directors, and finance managers for all accounting and taxrelated questions in their respective countries
  • You will have direct authority in matters that fall under your responsibility (e.g. policy competence, Accounting Manual, transfer pricing responsibility, etc.)
  • You will be responsible for the annual US-GAAP reconciliation and for tax matters within the European group, including strategy and documentation of transfer pricing for Europe, direct and indirect taxes, and tax audits
  • You will also oversee and be responsible for the consolidation software Lucanet, SAP FI, and Business Intelligence throughout Europe
  • You will also organize the "Finance SSC" and the SAP FI Business Process Owners
  • You will act as project lead or key member for various internal improvement, IT, or M&A projects
  • You will work closely with the Treasury, Operations, Controlling, IT, and divisions on all relevant interfaces and projects

Your profile:
