    About the Role


    As the Engineering Manager, you will find a challenging opportunity responsible for the front-end flow of modified standard products as part of our semiconductor Gas Delivery and Exhaust business segment.

    You will be responsible for producing high-quality products that will serve world leading companies in the semiconductor industry.

    You will lead, develop, and support a local engineering team and interface with cross functional teams across multiple Watlow sites.

    You will help set business priorities for work queues, advise on administrative systems, and support technical resolutions.


    Working within our constructive culture as the Engineering Manager you will advance and develop your autonomy, mastery and purpose, through coaching and leadership provided by your team leader.

    You will also be expected to coach and develop your team members to support the growth and development of the business.

    This role is located in Austin, Texas.

    Travel to customers and other sites is not expected to exceed 25%

    Your Key Responsibilities


    Lead the development and use of functional engineering resources in the execution of product and process design and development of activities.

    Direct engagement with our semi raving fan customers technical community

    Provide leadership and cross functional coordination.

    Maintain working knowledge of the specialized skill sets required in assigned functional areas.

    Link w/account teams, product management, product development, and the BU

    Provide direct supervision of responsibilities and activities of application engineers, project coordinators, and designers.

    Prepare opportunity justifications based on cost/benefit analysis.

    Proactively participate in opportunity management and prioritizing planning

    Required Qualifications

    Advanced degree (MS/MBA) or bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience

    Project management experience

    Supervisory and training experience

    Experience in Electrical/Controls Engineering is preferred

    Experience within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
