- Manage a team of 10-15 engineers, developing services and applications for Cognite Data Fusion - a robust, state-of-the-art SaaS for industrial data.
- Interact with a cross-functional team consisting of designers, product managers and program managers to ensure the team builds maintainable software that the customer loves on time.
- Continuous work as a collaboration catalyst across products, ensuring the team provides excellent results with great quality.
- Coaching your teams to ensure a delightful user experience with high-quality products that help the user solve complex real-world problems that have yet to be solved before.
- Coaching all of your engineers with variable backgrounds, seniority and understanding of the domain they are solving to have good professional development.
- Working with your team to understand the users' problems and domain, and you foresee and mitigate potential problems in plans.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Be actively involved in setting product and technical direction.
- You might do some coding yourself.
- Dogfooding our products to try to put yourself in our users shoes.
- You have a background in a SaaS company
- You are an experienced people manager today. The added experience of having worked as a tech lead, project manager or product manager is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- You have a genuine and keen interest in building the competency of engineers in a company and can do so emphatically.
- You have a collaborative mindset, and have a drive to always look at the greater good.
- You have experience in building data-driven applications.
- Have the motivation to work in a high-paced environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Have a good story about a time you created, small or large, digital impact
