    Overview

    Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm


    Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

    Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, assists in educating and advocating youth in relation to the objectives of the Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Program.

    The Youth educator will work with High School Youth in recruitment for our prevention program, meeting with them in groups, developing and delivering substance use prevention material, along with other program efforts.


    Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ years experience working with youth and providing peer education; knowledge of issues relating to specific program.

    Knowledge of substance use prevention preferred. Experience working with High School students/peer level strongly preferred.

    Education/Licensure/Certification:
    High School diploma or equivalent.

    Pay Scale Information

    $33,072.00-$51,189.00

    Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

    The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

    Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
