    Position Overview:

    Pure Storage is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to help drive the product roadmap. The role will focus on business and product planning, define product requirements, drive and articulate the value of the products to key audiences, including customers & strategic partners.

    As a Hardware Product Manager, you will develop product positioning and competitive analysis and will manage cross-functional relationships for the development of new productsincluding working with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and sales to bring products to market.

    You will be part of the Pure Storage organization that is responsible for all hardware development within the company.

    Responsibilities:
    • Define product and feature requirements future product strategy with sustainable and compelling differentiation based on customer needs, competitive analysis, market and technology trends. Work closely with the engineering team to build the products.
    • Manage product launch cycles and create collateral to bring new features to the market
    • Produce sales enablement materials and training to enable sales organization
    • Customer/Market Research gather customer feedback to understand key issues/needs and trends in customer base. Conduct market and technology analysis to get broader sense of the market and competitive product use
    • Analyze historical data and identify areas of business growth.
    • Work closely with the executive team to establish the scope and goals of the project and provide leadership for the project teams
    • Work with Operations and demand planning for Product life-cycle management.
    Qualifications:
    • 6+ years of combined experience in product management
    • Having a background in hardware product development is a plus (Infrastructure,FPGA, Systems).
    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant STEM field.
    • MBA strongly preferred
    • Technical understanding of enterprise storage environments, deployments and use cases is a plus but not necessary.
    • Executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Critical problem solving
    • Direct and relevant experience and a strong understanding of and experience with product lifecycles and go-to-market strategies.
    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects
    • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

    You will be based in Santa Clara, CA. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

    Pay Range:
    USD $190, USD $284,000.00 /Yr.

    Pay Transparency Statement:

    Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
