~ In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, the Director of Preconstruction at Wallick Communities will play a critical role in the success of our multifamily projects by leading our preconstruction efforts, ensuring plan accuracy, design guidance, cost estimating and preconstruction coordination. C ollaborate closely with the development, design, and construction teams to optimize project outcomes and deliver exceptional results.
Lead the preconstruction efforts in preparing comprehensive and accurate estimates and budgets for multifamily , senior, and workforce projects.
Engage key subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates.Oversee the preparation of detailed proposals, including scope of work, project schedules, and cost breakdowns.
Coordinate with Construction Coordinator to prepare AIA, HUD, or other prime construction contract documents.
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
~10 years' experience in preconstruction management at the senior level.
~ Tenured performance at the senior level in a similar preconstruction role.
~ Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
~ Highly proficient in plan review and cost analysis driving cost effective design decisions.
