- The Contractor shall support internal enterprise-connected systems and systems outside the organization's network (IP-based) to proactively identify vulnerabilities accessible for exploitation by external parties from the internet.

- Demonstrated experience reviewing reports and providing a basic analysis of findings and results.
- Demonstrated experience with network and vulnerability scanning using tools such as Nmap and Rapid7 Nexpose.
- Demonstrated experience remediating a wide variety of system vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrated experience identifying solutions for enhancing responses to request for information.
- Demonstrated experience using Python & Typescript/React JS.
- Demonstrated experience with Docker Containers and Bastion Sessions.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS and core services.
- Demonstrated experience using Git and GitHub development processes.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with APIs and writing scripts to push and pull data in a database.
- Demonstrated experience creating and deploying a database.
- Demonstrated experience communicating software and system design issues to customers.
- Certifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting network connections/scanning.
- Demonstrated experience using JIRA or another ticketing system to track task status.
- Demonstrated experience with the DevOps lifecycle and coordinating requirements with development teams.

THE PROGRAM The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community.
We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013.We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest.
THE PROJECT The Sponsor provides highly-technical centralized cybersecurity services for its organization to include Cyber Defenders, Cyber Assessors, and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs).
The Sponsor requires specialized support in software development to prototype cybersecurity tools and utilities primarily for executive reporting of cyber metrics and trending and facilitating efficient Authorization and Assessment (A&A) efforts.
THE ROLE * The Contractor shall support cyber defense staff projects that includes automation of systems inventory, vulnerability scanning, and status reporting.
Required Skills * Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity information technology, security applications, and networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, web and email protocols).
