    We are seeking a mission-focused Software Engineer - Expert to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Herndon, Virginia


    ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

    Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

    A current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
    A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
    Five (5) to Eight (8) years of relevant experience with the following skillsets
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages; Ansible is a must-have.
    Eclipse development duties – GitHub, DevOps, Java, and Python.
    Experience in security review of applications and infrastructure.
    Four (4) or more years of experience participating in Agile activities.
    Experience researching new technologies in object-oriented programming (OOP).
    Experience in Cloud-based services.
    Experience working within an engineering team environment with other teammates at various skill levels.
    Ability to mentor other teammates.

    Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

    Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
    Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
    Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
    Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc.

    Security Clearance Level

    TS/SCI with Polygraph (current)

    Work Schedule

    Full-time on-site at designated facility.

    We are seeking a mission-focused Senior Linux Systems Engineer to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Herndon, Virginia


    ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

    Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities

    Perform systems engineering and software development in multiple large enterprise server environments (e.g., Linux, RedHat, and CentOS).
    Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
    Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
    Prepare required documentation (program-level and user-level).
    Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
    Perform technical evaluations and analysis.
    Support the customer in the development and maintenance of systems baseline.
    Assess server loads and work with technical leads to develop tuning recommendations.

    Perform O&M duties, to include operational pager/phone duty support, complete day-to-day operations and maintenance tasks, and operating systems software updates, upgrades, and patches.

    Required Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

    A bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field is preferred.
    Six (6) or more years of relevant experience with a background utilizing the following
    Background with Linux including RedHat and its derivatives (CentOS, RHEL, RockyOS).
    Experience in shell scripting and manipulating the Linux command line.
    Experience providing Linux Administration support.
    Experience providing engineering infrastructure support.

    Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

    Experience with the following languages – Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP.
    Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
    Experience with configuration management software (e.g., Ansible, Puppet Manifests and Foreman).
    Experience with cloud computing, including PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS.
    Experience with CaaS (e.g., Kubernetes and OpenShift).
    Experience with LAMP.
