    Founded in 1887 Dignity Health
    • California Hospital Medical Center is a 318 bed acute care nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles.
    The hospital offers a full complement of services including a Level II trauma center the Los Angeles Center for Womens Health obstetrics and pediatric services and comprehensive cardiac and surgical services. The hospital shares a legacy of humankindness with Dignity Health one of the nations five largest health care systems.

    CommonSpirit's approach to violence prevention uses both community-based programs public policy advocacy and provides a powerful combination of strategies that collectively make a meaningful difference in any and all forms of violence.

    As a violence prevention project coordinator the selected candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders perform research and present their findings to hospital leadership.

    An ideal candidate will have some experience with public health or social services research creating and administering surveys compiling data and building rapport in the Los Angeles community.

    Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional work environment preferably healthcare setting with exposure to building rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
