    Maintenance Supervisor

    A growing food production company is seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the St. Petersburg, FL area. The Maintenance Supervisor works to supervise a team of technicians to accomplish maintenance tasks throughout the facility safely and efficiently on manufacturing equipment in a fast paced production environment. Room for growth in an expanding organization with involved leadership.

    Responsibilities:


    • Responsible for safe completion of maintenance tasks on automated manufacturing equipment including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

    • Understand, follow, and enforce necessary food production sanitary and safety procedures in a GMP and GFSI regulated environment and in accordance with company SOP

    • Communicate maintenance tasks effectively and ensure scheduled workload is accomplished on all shift(s) as required for preventative, corrective and/or scheduled maintenance

    • Ensure technicians are provided with all parts and necessary equipment to perform maintenance tasks correctly and safely; report any shortages of parts, equipment, tools, or consumables to management

    • In conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and Asst Maintenance Manager, lead, teach, and develop technicians and make recommendations for personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures

    • Work with, and be prepared to provide support to, ammonia refrigeration and automation technicians in execution of their duties

    • Ensure CMMS is utilized correctly, and maintenance administration is appropriately documented

    Qualifications:


    • 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance Supervisor experience (required) in food production (required)

    • Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical troubleshooting and ability to read and interpret schematics (required)

    • AS/BS in applicable discipline, or related education and certifications in maintenance beyond High School Diploma (preferred)

    • Siemens PLC troubleshooting skills and ammonia refrigeration experience (preferred)
