    Description

    Join our team as a Transportation Engineer in the Salt Lake City office of Fehr & Peers. If you have experience or coursework in engineering, roadway, or civil site design, and a passion for innovative solutions, this role is for you. Collaborate with a diverse range of public agencies, developers, and consultants from other disciplines as part of our inclusive team.

Craft concepts, and devise solutions for impactful projects like multimodal traffic operations, traffic impact studies, and more. Work with cutting-edge software such as Synchro, Vistro and VISSIM, while benefiting from the support of our internal research and development groups, focused on advancing capabilities and staff needs.     Responsibilities

    • Conduct traffic operations analyses for public and private projects
    • Develop reports and other deliverables that communicate your results to clients and partners
    • Conduct field visits to improve understanding of existing conditions and needs
    • Collaborate with a team of engineers and planners to develop high-quality work for our clients
    Qualifications (We encourage all applicants to apply, even if you don't meet all of the qualifications listed below)
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field
    • Work experience as a junior engineer (e.g. internship) and/or completion of significant project coursework in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or related areas
    • Exceptional technical writing and public speaking skills
    • A focus on career growth
    • EIT (highly desirable)
    • Familiar with traffic operations analysis software, such as Synchro, Vistro, or VISSIM (highly desirable)
    $72,000 - $85,000 a year

    The salary range for this position is $ per year. Placement within the stated pay range will be determined based upon education, experience, and qualifications.
