Responsibilities:
Case Management:
Represent clients in civil litigation matters related to insurance defense.
Handle a caseload of insurance-related disputes, including personal injury claims, property damage, and liability issues.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal documents.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Legal Strategy:
Develop effective legal strategies to protect clients' interests.
Evaluate cases, assess liability, and recommend settlement or trial options.
Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
Client Advocacy:
Advocate for clients in negotiations, settlements, and court proceedings.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Risk Assessment:
Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and potential risks.
Assess the strength of claims against insured parties.
Identify potential areas of exposure and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Legal Research and Writing:
Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations.
Draft legal memoranda, motions, and briefs.
Prepare discovery requests and responses.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Collaborate with insurance adjusters, experts, and witnesses.
Attend team meetings and case reviews.
Production Requirements
Ranges from 1,800 to 2,100 hours annually (dependent on experience)

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
FIVE (5) years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Knowledge of insurance law, torts, and civil procedure.

Compensation:
$150,000 to $210,000 (dependent on experience)
Incentive bonuses on quarterly basis based on productivity
