    Marks, O'Neill, O'Brien, Doherty & Kelly. P.C., a regional civil defense litigation firm, is looking for a New York-barred attorney with 10+ years of litigation experience to join its Manhattan or Tarrytown office.

    This is a full-time, hybrid position with a competitive salary, benefit package, and growth opportunities. No book of business required.

    We provide the resources and practice support of a large law firm with the collegiality and collaborative approach typical of a smaller firm. If you're eager to gain hands-on experience from day one and exposure to different fields of litigation, we'd love to chat with you. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated lawyer to counsel clients on a diverse range of legal issues.

    Established in 1986, we are at the forefront of insurance defense litigation. Our team handles professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, casualty, construction defect, and general liability coverage cases. With offices across multiple states including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, we take a regional approach to meeting our clients' litigation needs.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from initiation to trial, in cases involving general liability, professional liability, and/or employment claims.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have 10+ years of litigation experience.
    • NY Bar admission required.
    • Experience in casualty, NY Labor Law, construction defect, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and/or general liability litigation is beneficial.
    • Prior experience at an insurance defense litigation firm is a plus.
    • Strong writing and organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Proficiency in Lexis software.
