    Job Title: Business Development Associate – US

    Company Overview:

    Job Description:

    This position will focus on managing and growing our existing business in United States and requires extensive period of travelling. As a Business Development Associate, you will report directly to Ethnic Sales Head and play a crucial role in driving profitability, expanding distributor channel, growing portfolio, increasing market share, and establishing Al Safa Foods as a trusted food brand in the US market. Being a self starter coupled with a tenacity for critical analysis and problem-solving abilities are the three core skills required for one to thrive in this role.

    Revenue Generation and Partner Management:

    • Build and maintain a strong relationship with existing distributors and other stakeholders
    • Develop and implement data driven sales strategies to meet and exceed sales strategies

    New Partner Identification and Negotiations:

    • Actively seek and identify new business opportunities (both existing and new territories) through networking, cold calling and lead generation
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified distributor prospects
    • Lead negotiations with potential distributors to secure favorable terms and agreements
    • Ensure contractual agreements align with company policies and legal requirements

    Market & Industry Research:

    • Conduct adequate market research to familiarize with the industry and competition behavior,
    • Assess market trends and identify focus areas of tapping into emerging opportunities as well as combating potential risks
    • Stay updated on industry trends, shoppers' preferences, pricing, new products and regulatory changes that may impact Al Safa Foods' business

    Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Act as the key point of contact for the relevant on-ground business-related matters, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service
    • Collaborate with internal team members to streamline contract management processes, aligning strategies and ensuring seamless flow of information
    • Build strong relationship with external partner team members to ensure strategies are executed effectively
    • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), sales performance, pricing, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement
    • Conduct regular sales analysis, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management
    • Network with industry experts and attend industry events (conferences, trade shows and webinars)

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • 3 years sales experience within the Food Industry
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales and/or Marketing
    • Must have high ethical and professional standards.
    • Position based in USA, frequent travel in many states within USA 50-75% of the time (by air/by road)
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to develop strategic and collaborative relationships.
    • Willingness to work within different global time zones − available to work flexible hours as required.
    • Valid driver's license & car
    • Ability to work Legally anywhere in USA.
    • Must be Bilingual in English & Urdu/Hindi/Arabic, Punjabi/Gujrati an Asset
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
