    Job Description

    Our client has continued to grow their mixed use portfolio and is looking for a talented Development Analyst/ Associate to perform detailed financial analysis and modeling for development opportunities. The Development Analyst/ Associate will perform detailed strategic planning, quarterly and annual income analysis and other traditional real estate finance activities. Other responsibilities:

  • Maintain and run financial models on existing assets and/or development projects using Argus, DCF Models or other similar financial tools.
  • Collect and analyze feasibility items such as environmental site assessments, surveys, plats,
    geotechnical reports, construction plans and easements
  • Evaluate research data and produce real time valuation
  • Consolidate, analyze and model financial data including budget analysis and income statement forecasting.
  • Update and complete various investor reports, including financial snapshots and qualitative summaries
  • Modeling and analyzing financial data regarding refinancing, acquisitions and/or disposition of investments
  • Work with Development Managers in the underwriting, due diligence and modeling for new developments, current assets and future acquisitions

    The Successful Applicant

    The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Investments with exceptional Excel modeling skills
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Skilled communicator- written and verbal
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment with minimal over site
  • Track record of creating IRR and equity waterfall models using Microsoft Excel and Argus to analyze prospective development investment opportunities.
  • Exposure to mixed use development projects a plus but other similar asset types will be considered. What's on Offer

    Strong base salary plus bonus potential based on performance. Targeting a base salary in the $80,000 to $100,000 range.
