Job DescriptionThis position will focus on initiatives that drive new revenue growth, primarily through partnerships and sponsorships.This is a paid internship through PA Career Link (if qualified applicant) or an unpaid position in exchange for college credit.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify new prospective club partners for the youth program and women's teamsAssist the club's strategic Directors in acquiring sponsors/partners.
Schedule meetings and partake in them as neededDevelop and implement additional fundraising opportunities for the clubLead and/or assist in additional fundraising opportunitiesAcquire giveaways and door prizes for game days and team events from local, regional and national organizationsCoordinate post-game meals (as needed)Work with the Activities Coordinator to plan and acquire sponsorship for game-day activities.
Attend home games and assist where needed (most likely in ticket and merchandise sales).Work with the leadership team to ensure club deliverables/benefits are met for all sponsorsMaintain and continuously update prospect lists.
Stay informed of industry trends across professional sports and make suggestions where appropriate for new revenue generating opportunities.Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsAbility to pass comprehensive background check. Attend and pass SafeSport training.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members, executives, and external partners.
Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted and deadline-driven environment.Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to reach out to individuals and organizations for sponsorships and donations under the leadership team's direction.
Interest in women empowerment through sports, especially soccer, is also desired.
Spanish language skills are a plus.

The First Team roster is composed of players who want to pursue their professional aspirations and features current/post college players and former professionals.
Headquartered in Pod 2 on the Campus of Rock Lititz (Lititz, PA), the Inferno is committed to providing a complete pathway from youth to pre-professional soccer.
In addition to the pre-professional team, Inferno fields U20/U23 women's teams during the summer months, and youth travel teams from the U9-U19 age groups year-round (Lancaster Inferno FC).
Lancaster Inferno FC is the only all-girls travel soccer club in Pennsylvania that provides a player pathway from youth to pre-professional.
About the United Soccer League (USL)The United Soccer League (USL) is the heartbeat of American soccer.Impacting more than 200 communities across the United States, the USL is the first and only soccer organization in the United States to build a youth-to-professional pathway for both men and women within one ecosystem.
That structure includes three professional leagues:
USL Super League (women), USL Championship (men), and USL League One (men); two pre-professional leagues: USL League Two (men) and the USL W League (women); and two youth platforms: USL Academy and USL Youth.
