Boeing's Missile Defense National Team is seeking motivated and talented Senior (Level 4) Network Engineer Support Analyst to join the team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Program Information:

The C2BMC National Team provides technical solutions to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Contract. C2BMC is the integrating element for the Ballistic Missile Defense System and links various sensors and weapon systems. The system provides capabilities to integrate and synchronize missile defense systems and operations, providing a layered defense against multiple ranges of threats and in all phases of flight.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Support the development, integration, verification, and test of the C2BMC. C2BMC National Team program is the system integration piece of the Ballistic Missile Defense System which defends the United States homeland and its regional allies all over the world.
• Be part of the Network Development team and assist the senior network design engineers with the design and development of network components supporting the C2BMC BMDS Communications Network.
• Areas of responsibilities will include design, implementation, integration, and testing as well as support of the network development life cycle with peer reviews, documentation and configuration management adhering to the project level process plans
• Candidate will focus on Cyber design implementation
• Supports cross functional technical networking issues; collaborate, and establish network automation discipline into all aspects of the program

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location (Colorado Springs, CO.).

This position may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility. Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. government authorities.

This position requires candidate acceptance by industry partner resource control board.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
• DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
• Minimum of 3 years of in system engineering (e.g. Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements or Test)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Basic understanding of network architecture, engineering, design, implementation, testing, network communication protocols, network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP) and IP network troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP behavior, network communications
• Basic understanding of network communication products including router, switches, firewalls, and Domain Name Servers (DNS)
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools. Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
