- Setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment
- Ability to make program edits directly on CNC equipment
- Producing components according to specified dimensions and tolerances
- Precise measurement of parts using various tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales
- Maintaining a well-organized and safe work environment while driving enhancements for safety and efficiency
- Thorough completion of all related paperwork
- Staying up-to-date with required trainings
- Working on diverse parts and processes across multiple machines
- Capable of resolving most issues and providing guidance to junior staff
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- Commitment to a safety-focused work culture with zero tolerance for accidents
- Solid mathematical skills for shop calculations and interpreting mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with G-code and/or conversational programming for CNC machines
- Understanding of fixturing and safe work holding practices
- Experience with cast materials
- Knowledge of basic rigging and crane operations
- Familiarity with turning, milling insert geometries, and grades
- Understanding of cutting conditions including feeds, speeds, and depths of cut
- Previous exposure to machining stainless alloys
- First shift: Monday to Friday, 06:30-15:00
- Second shift: Monday to Friday, 14:45-23:15
- Overtime may be required with a 36-hour notice
