The Project Manager will support the lead Project Manager on a team providing Section 508 auditing, testing and training.

The Project Manager will be jointly responsible for all aspects of the project, including (but not limited to) customer relations, sub-contractor partner relations, project finances, team management, schedule, risks, process management, payroll processing, and overall project performance for all aspects of the project, including (but not limited to) customer relations, sub-contractor partner relations, project finances, team management, schedule, risks, process management, payroll processing, and overall project performance.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage diverse team of staff to deliver results on time with high quality
  • Actively lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including project planning, contract management, project execution, and tracking and reporting
  • Deliver project requirements on time, within budget, with quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Develop detailed project schedules, estimates, and resource plans
  • Produce and deliver detailed status reports and briefings, along with periodic demonstrations of developed capability, to document and demonstrate project progress
  • Proactively manage scope, actions, issues, and risks to ensure project success. Follow change control procedures effectively.
  • Provide meeting planning and facilitation, including project team meetings, document reviews, and clientdriven meetings (e.g., Integrated Project Team (IPTs) meetings). Prepare meeting minutes and tracking action items.
  • Coordinate and monitor timely and effective completion of actions
  • Coordinate development and reviews of highquality project deliverables using appropriate templates
  • Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders, including end users, business, vendors, and service partners
  • Support corporate business development activities, including proposals
  • Demonstrated success as a Project Manager, showing a track record of delivering IT systems projects under budget and on schedule
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing project teams ranging from staff across multiple locations
  • Familiarity with Government contract work
  • Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks and issues
  • Experience assisting in the development of project plans, responding to requests for information, and developing and presenting briefings on project status to program leadership
  • Experience in creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, velocity, and other project metrics
  • Experience developing and reviewing project documentation, such as project management plans, business / technical requirements, and other project artifacts
  • Experience interfacing with seniorlevel stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and clientfacing skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting corporate business development activities, including proposals

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
years of relevant experience as a project manager for government contracts

  • Experience supporting a team with 40+ employees
  • PMP or PgMP certification required
  • Agile / SAFe certifications a plus
