_ About this role:
_
The Junior Technical Writer will coordinate with technical and management teams to identify needs for creation, editing, and reviewing of both formal and informal program and project documents and data.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the program teams, staff, and other teammates to generate, review, and staff various program documents and data.
- Assist the Government by facilitating coordinated replies to VA stakeholders, Congress, business sponsors, and other nonroutine communication tasks, as well as missiondriven ad hoc requests for information.
- Forms of communications shall vary based on Government requirements, and could range from print to multimedia, verbal to written communication, and social media to formal executive correspondence.
- Support the Government by drafting responses to recurring communication tasks and other missiondriven ad hoc requests for information on BAM release activities.
- Experience in explaining highly technical data and information to technical and nontechnical readers
- Experience with gathering a variety of sources to properly capture format requirements
- Ability to draft versions of the documents to ensure review by responsible officials
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or 2year technical degree
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Must have written and verbal communication experience
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
