    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual who wants to join our team as a Regional Distribution Center Manager.

    In this exciting role, you will be the lead individual for the distribution center, staffing the location and creating best practices.

    The Regional Distribution Center (RDC) will service our customer base in the market with the full suite of NCS product offerings.

    To achieve this, managers are expected to provide their team with the tools needed for success while driving improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving.

    Successful candidates will ensure efficiency in the distribution center with daily oversight of distribution center operations including inventory, shipping and receiving.

    You will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.


    Job Duties:

    Maintains physical condition of the distribution facility to reflect positively on the NCS brand and organization including establishing and maintaining a 5s program.

    Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvementsForecast staffing, workload and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results for areas of responsibilitiesChampion safety for the facility which includes ensuring the timely completion of training and adherence to all safety and OSHA policies ensuring compliance of team members with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.

    Manage inventory to ensure records are maintained, ensure integrity is kept and maximum customer service is achievedParticipate in administering company policies, directing and coordinating all department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectivesProvide coaching, information, ideas, feedback and encouragement to employees to promote the growth and development of the teamDefine and communicate performance targets for safety, quality, delivery, costs and employee engagement/development with team.

    Hold team accountable for those targetsEstablish an environment conducive to high levels of engagement, morale, employee satisfaction, and performance according to NCS Values and VisionReview analyses of activities, costs operations and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectivesAct as primary point of resolution for escalating customer issues and/or complaints, as well as internal/local concerns and complaints.

    Resolves or escalates matters as necessaryComplies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actionsManages and oversees delivery operations in the marketOversees inventory, warehousing and delivery operations at up to 5 satellite storage facilities within the assigned territoriesManagement retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any timeQualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum of 5 years in supervisory or leadership experienceMinimum of 5 years experience in distribution, fulfillment and/or warehouse operationsKnowledge of business management principles and practicesKnowledge of technical aspects of raw material warehousing/distribution with skills aligned to transactional processing and warehousing design including the ability to implement these designsProficiency in WMS system environment requiredProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and computer literacy.

    Up to 20% travel requiredProven history of ability to train, organize, lead, and motivate a team to succeedP&L experienceStrong Business AcumenExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with proven track record in problem solving and analysis and implementation of solutionsProject management skills and experienceCustomer service orientationPhysical Requirements:
    The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
