The Beacon Group of Companies, an insurance, employee benefits, financial, and retirement planning advisory firm, is in search of a highly motivated Benefits Account Manager to join our team as part of our business expansion efforts.

About Us:
The Beacon Group provides comprehensive advice on investing, insurance, and employee benefits to companies and individuals. Our experienced advisers offer unbiased insurance and investment consulting, acting as advocates for clients during the buying process.

The Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for managing an assigned book of business, potentially handling multiple clients. Your responsibilities will include explaining benefits, addressing employee inquiries during enrollment, and ensuring client satisfaction with the service provided by your employer.

Your Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Build and maintain client relations and manage client accounts.
Delegate account servicing tasks to team members.
Prepare and present proposals for Small Business Unit (SBU) accounts.
Review new and renewal policies for accuracy.
Resolve policy coverage, billing, membership, and claims issues.
Analyze client applications and documents meticulously.
Thoroughly document accounts using the agency's management systems.
Mentor and train fellow employees as required.
Enhance insurance knowledge and stay updated on industry changes.
Provide backup support to other employees as needed.
Work on special projects and other assigned duties.

Qualifications for the Employee Benefits Account Manager:

PA Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License (Preferred).
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and service-driven.
Preferred 1 to 2 years' experience with an employee benefits broker firm.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher.
Experience with open enrollment or annual renewal benefits cycles (Preferred).
