    Founded in 1998, MRG is a provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration.

    Job Overview

    • Would you like to review medical records and conduct assessment questionnaires to assist Veterans?

    Description

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits procedure.

    When conducting Disability Assessments, you will examine behavioral health records online via a secure Web Portal and perform thorough assessments in person for each Veteran.

    You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) using the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist WILL NOT determine disability. The U.S. Veterans Administration handles all disability determinations, partly based on the information recorded in the DBQs.

    This role involves ONLY conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. It does NOT involve treatment or medication prescription.

    The Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.

    The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule: Full-Time

    This is an ON-SITE position.

    Requirements

    MRG Exams seeks a Licensed Psychologist who:

    • Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D and has completed an APA-accredited program/school.
    • Possesses an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
