    Founded in 1998, MRG is a provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration.

    Job Overview

    • Are you a Licensed Psychologist with a PsyD, or Ph.D. interested in an assessment role?

    • Do you feel motivated to support the Veteran community?
    • Would you like to analyze medical records and conduct assessment questionnaires to assist Veterans?

    Description

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    During Disability Assessments, you will examine behavioral health records online via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.

    You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) using the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist is not involved in disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations, considering the information recorded in the DBQs.

    This position strictly involves conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. Treatment and medication prescriptions are not part of the responsibilities.

    The Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans daily.

    They will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule: Full-Time

    This position requires in-person presence.

    Requirements

    MRG Exams seeks a Licensed Psychologist who:

    • Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program/school.
    • Possesses an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
